Manitou Tourism has opened a new Chamber of Commerce in the Regional Municipality of Manitou, GCG. "The new chamber's mission will be to provide advertising for merchants who have stores in the Meaford Market Mall. It will be more targeted paid advertising that will highlight those businesses that contribute to the long term investment in the Manitou regions" said Winter Silversmith CAO Manitou Tourism.
The new Chamber program will offer a three tier service to merchants in the community.
Bronze Members (MC$ 500 one time fee) will receive a special plaque identifying themselves as a Chamber member to display at their store; a banner ad on the newly created Chamber page on the Manitou Tourism website; posting on the special Chamber members boards placed in the Meaford Market Mall and inclusion on the Meaford Market Mall billboards.
Silver Members (MC$ 1,000 one time fee) will receive all the Bronze member benefits plus an advertisement on the side banner of the Corran Journal front page; Notices in the GCG Flyer group from the Chamber (that will include your business in a notecard).
Gold Members (MC$ 2,500 one time fee) will receive all of the Bronze and Silver member benefits plus a regular advertisement places in the Corran Journal News feed stream at the discretion of the Corran Journal.
The fine print:
1. no refunds
2. you can start at Bronze, or Silver, and "buy up" to reach Silver or Gold level
3. services may be added or removed at discretion of Chamber
4. chamber payments do not affect rental payments in any way
The Manitou Chamber of Commerce office will be located on the South Promenade, Meaford Market Mall, in Meaford, GCG between the Bookstore and Corran Journal buildings. A sign located in the back of the office will instruct Meaford Market Mall merchants on how to pay the fee for membership. Sorry we only accept $Maples as payment of your membership.
