You may have noticed the special Canada 150 flags and signage appearing across the Manitou regions this month. The Regional Municipality of Manitou is marking the 150th Birthday of the nation of Canada with authorized logo signage.
"You can not just use the logo wherever you want, it is a copyrighted logo" Winter Silversmith CAO Manitou Tourism told the Corran Journal this afternoon "I had to submit an application to the Government of Canada (on behalf of the reallife Kevin M. Klerks) to use the logo in the virtual platform of the Great Canadian Grid on flags and signs". The good news of an approval to use the logo was received last Friday via email.
The application approval grants the use of the logo on virtual flags and signage on the Regional Municipality of Manitou, GCG regions only and only by Kevin M. Klerks (avatar Winter Silversmith). "Anyone else who wants to use the logo must complete the application form with the Government of Canada" Winter said.
For your convenience you may click on COMPLETE AN APPLICATION to file for use of the logo in the Great Canadian Grid or anywhere else. You must complete the application using your real life information and it is bound by law.
