Well it was another outstanding performance by Madmax Huet as he performed live on stage at Club Max in the Great Canadian Grid this afternoon. Those of you from SecondLife may recall that Max, as he is known to his friends, plays electric blues guitar and blues harp with some blues jazz thrown in. He has been playing the blues since he was twelve years old and is very well known in SecondLife and now OpenSim for his original songs including some very talented harmonica playing.
Madmax Huet is attentive to his fans and always interacts with them between his songs. You can tell from his responses that he is there live reading and being a part of the event which is very important in a live performance. Madmax has performed at many SecondLife venues over the years including Kara’s Korner, Freda’s Place, Hotlanta Blues and in 3rdRock Grid at the SecondLife inspired charity event ROBStock.
Among the dozen or so people in attendance at today’s performance were several GCG Staff members including Owner Roddie Macchi, Chat Support cookie cresci, Club Max owner and GCG Events Coordinator Maxwell Bricker and GCG Pulse Owner Winter Silversmith. When you add in performance fees and tips the event generated about MC$5,350 (or around $30 Canadian) in revenues for the performer and venue not bad for a Saturday afternoon eh.
Keep watching the GCG Pulse calendar at www.gcgpulse.ca and the GCG Events group in the Great Canadian Grid for future performance dates for Madmax Huet and all of the other awesome talented artists appearing in GCG. The GCG Pulse website is sponsored by the Great Canadian Grid and Manitou Tourism.
