"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace." Jimi Hendrix. Great Canadian Grid members and Hypergrid visitors displayed a lot of love at the Jimi Hendrix Experience tribute show on March 26, 2017, the pyrotechnics and stage complimented an amazing performance by the late Jimi Hendrix presented by The Independents.
Rocking tunes warmed up to a crowd of fifteen people at noon with some roasting psychedelia to get them in the mood. The audience had swelled to about thirty-two after just thirty minutes on stage and maintained that amount for the rest of the event.
Jimi Hendrix (Toaster Dementros), Noel Redding (Sabrina Dementros) and Mitch Mitchell on drums took the stage just after one in the afternoon and the concert lasted until two thirty. "There was far out music, crazy lights and even a bear, I had an awesome time" said Winter Silversmith who attended the event for the Corran Journal. The event was presented live on the Great Canadian Grid video stream.

Although his mainstream career spanned only four years, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of popular music, and one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame describes him as 'arguably the greatest instrumentalist in the history of rock music'" source: Wikipedia
