I was running so late on Thursday morning that I almost forgot to bring you along, and, in my rush to leave I would have missed the gift from my late night visitor. I had just gone back to the counter to grab my laptop bag and was heading for the door when Bear stopped in front of the open doorway and looked down barking at the small package on the step.
I reached down to pick up the tupperware container and tucked it into my bag as the plane was just landing down at the dock to take me over to Barrie.
I am planning on attending the fireworks in downtown Barrie tonight if the cold weather does not put a hold on the party. It is minus twenty-two right now and there is an extreme cold warning out for most of Southern and Central Ontario.
I am spending the next day or two here in Barrie for the New Years celebrations and then I will either continue on to Saskatoon for my meeting on the eighth or return to Corran first. I have not decided yet.
