Hello Friends of Manitou,
Changes are coming, at least in the real world.
I recently lost my job and will soon lose my home as well, the joys of living in company housing. As a result I might not be on GCG as often as I would like. I will try to access the internet when and where I can until I finally get settled but I'm expecting that will probably take a couple months.
Fear not though about your homes and businesses. I have just paid up my tiers through until April 2018 so Manitou isn't going anywhere.
What I need from you are the following things:
1. continue to be good to your neighbours and watch out for them in my absence as you always have - it is what makes our community so great.
2. if a region of Manitou goes offline please let the chat support people know on the GCG website and they will restart it as soon as they can.
3. If your rental boxes expire, don't worry, I hope you contribute when you can but you won't be evicted for not paying the rent on time.
4. Please try to follow the Covenant, including the active in 30 days rule, while I won't be worried so much about places not being available for rent I do like to see my community active and appreciated.
Well, I guess that's about it, for now. I will lose regular laptop internet service starting Monday but like I said I'll be around when I can. I have my phone and I keep track of G+ as usual. You can always email me at email@example.com
As for the GCGPulse, keep submitting your events, Maxwell and I have a plan to keep things running smoothly in here even when my real life does not.
Like I said I'll be on until Sunday night, then I have to pack everything up for my move out on Monday morning...
Thanks for being such awesome members of our little city in the Great Canadian Grid,
