Manitou Tourism CAO Winter Silversmith is moving out of the historical Paulstone Manor House in middle Manitou, GCG, the home will be placed up for rent this weekend. "I recently purchased a beautiful tiny home, the Cozy Timber Home, from SunKissed Creations (creator: Genavieve Page) on Kitely and I will be living on Winters Isle in my new home" said Mr. Silversmith. "I have always wanted to own a tiny home in RealLife so this will be the next best thing. The home is absolutely beautiful and perfect for one or two avatars".
Mr. Silversmith explained one of the funny challenges of moving into a smaller home, "a couple people were confused when I said I was moving into a tiny home, they thought that I meant I was becoming a Tiny and moving into a small house. The "tiny home" or "miniature home" is becoming very popular in the RealLife Canada and United States. The home itself is about the size of a mobile home or trailer home and even comes with wheels but it is a lot more spacious than the homes you might be used to. I am thrilled the concept has finally come to GCG and the Kitely Marketplace".
The Cozy Timber Home comes in unfinished wood textures, furnished for $4.50US or unfurnished for $2.00US. The unfurnished version is approximately 305 prims and measures twenty metres by eight metres. The tiny home was placed on the Island on Friday and crews assembled a new bridge to the island this morning at a cost of 93 prims. "It all counts under my staff member two thousand prims allowance" Winter said "and we will place the Paulstone Manor up for rent at MC $250 per week with 1,000 personal prims. It is a historical landmark and perfect for a family to rent".
"This tiny home rates as one of the top five homes I have ever owned in OpenSim, I recommend it to anyone who wants to promote better living in the Great Canadian Grid with a smaller, more responsible, footprint. It gives you all of the comforts of home plus you are left with a lot more room on your parcel for gardening or a patio to entertain friends" Winter concluded.
