The Manitoulin Memorial Park is a donation to the people of the Great Canadian Grid for the placement of memorials to loved ones and victims of global catastrophes. There is no cost to place a memorial in the park.
"The limit for a memorial is 25 prims and you must be a member of the GCG and in the memorial park group to place a memorial" said Winter Silversmith CAO Manitou Tourism. "It can be placed anywhere on the region outside of the existing memorials for Police and Fire Department members". The prim limit was set due to the fact that this is a scenic region with limited prims. "We have room for up to fifty memorials at 25 prims each so there's lots of prims left for many of you" Winter said.
The region services recommend that your memorial be distanced at least twenty metres from another to allow for greater privacy for members.
The Manitoulin Memorial Park is located on Minesing region in the Regional Municipality of Manitou, GCG. "The land tiers are currently paid up until April 2018 so your memorial will remain for a long time on this region" Winter added.
