We begin our tour outside of the gates of the castle. Nearby are a few busker merchants and a small strip mall of boutique shops. Passing through the gate you enter a large courtyard which includes a long Moorish rectangular fountain adorned with rows of palm trees.
Walking over to the far east side you come up to a beautiful Moroccan garden with a variety of places to sit and carpets where one may say prayers to Allah. My favourite part of the garden was a small alcove where one may sit and listen to lute music in a picturesque setting of divine relaxation.
South from the garden are the public Baths. This prominent arched structure includes several poses for baths and showers in a traditional setting. A young lady in the shower is happy to offer you a towel, but don't get too excited - it's not the one she is wearing. Leaving the Bath one can view the palace stretched out across the landscape.
Be sure to check and take copies of furniture and other items along your walk of these breathtaking grounds. And... the rest is up to you to explore! Enjoy!
